Parashara AI is built by one person, not a faceless "team" — here's who, and why it exists.
I'm the engineer who designed and built Parashara AI — the web app you're reading this on, and the backend that computes every chart. This isn't a company with a content team behind it; it's a single-developer product, and I'd rather say that plainly than hide behind a generic "team" byline.
What drew me to Vedic astrology wasn't mysticism — it was the opposite. It's one of the few interpretive traditions built on a fully computable foundation: a birth chart is a precise astronomical snapshot, governed by explicit, well-documented rules, not vague impressions. That's the same instinct I bring as an engineer — distrust anything that can't be checked.
So that's how I built this product. Every planetary position, house, dasha date, and divisional chart is computed deterministically — using astronomy-engine, an open astronomy library built on VSOP87 and ELP2000-82 planetary/lunar theory — and independently validated against Swiss Ephemeris across 13 test charts before any of it reaches an AI. The AI's role is strictly to interpret those already-verified facts using classical Parashari principles; it never calculates or guesses a placement. Under the hood it's a React web app and a Node/Express backend I've built and maintain myself, running the same deterministic astronomical computation pipeline described above.
