2. Data We Collect

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you register on the application, express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products, or when you participate in activities on the application.

  • Astrological Data: To provide accurate astrological readings, we collect birth data including your birth date, exact birth time, and birth location (latitude and longitude).
  • Account Information: If you create an account using Google Authentication, we collect your name, email address, and profile picture provided by Google.
  • Interaction Data: We store your chat history and queries securely in our database to provide context-aware, personalized follow-up responses and improve the AI's contextual understanding of your chart.
  • Images (Optional Features): If you use our Palmistry or Face Reading tools, the photo you upload is processed by an AI vision model to generate your reading.
  • Voice Data (Optional Feature): If you use our Live Voice conversation feature, your microphone audio is streamed in real time to our AI voice provider to generate a spoken response.
  • Usage Data: We may collect information about how you access and use the platform, including IP addresses, browser types, and device information to improve our service.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use the personal information collected via our application for a variety of business purposes described below. We process your personal information for these purposes in reliance on our legitimate business interests, in order to enter into or perform a contract with you, with your consent, and/or for compliance with our legal obligations.

  • To facilitate account creation and logon process: We use the information you provide to allow you to log in securely.
  • To generate astrological insights: Your birth details are processed using observatory-grade astronomical calculations and advanced AI models (such as Google Gemini and Groq) to generate personalized Vedic astrology charts and readings. See our Accuracy & Methodology page for details on how these calculations are validated.
  • To improve our services: We may use your feedback and interactions to train and refine our AI systems and user interfaces.

4. Third-Party Services

We may share your data with third-party vendors, service providers, contractors, or agents who perform services for us or on our behalf and require access to such information to do that work. These include:

  • Google Firebase: Used for secure user authentication, database hosting (Firestore), and application hosting.
  • AI Providers: Your chat queries, birth details, and (where applicable) uploaded images or voice audio may be processed by one of several AI providers — primarily Google (Gemini API) and Groq — to generate natural language responses; we automatically route between them for reliability and speed. Google's API terms confirm data submitted through it is not used to train their public models. We select our other AI infrastructure providers for their standard API-level data-handling commitments, and we do not knowingly permit any provider to use your personal data to train public models.
  • Web3Forms: Used to securely process feedback and contact forms.

5. Data Security & Retention

We implement robust technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, despite our safeguards and efforts to secure your information, no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. You can request the deletion of your account and associated data at any time.
